Entropia Events is committed to maintaining transparency regarding platform functionality, desktop synchronization systems and user data handling practices.
This policy explains how platform infrastructure, authentication systems and optional desktop bridge integrations operate within the Entropia Events ecosystem.
Entropia Events may store basic account information required for platform authentication and account management functionality.
Depending on authentication providers used, stored information may include:

- OAuth provider identifiers
- Profile avatar information
- Authentication session tokens
Entropia Events uses OAuth authentication systems to simplify account access and reduce direct password handling requirements.
Authentication providers may include external services such as Google and Discord alongside future supported platform providers.
Entropia Events does not receive access to external provider passwords during OAuth authentication processes.
EntropiaEventsApp is the optional desktop synchronization application developed for the Entropia Events ecosystem.
The desktop bridge may communicate with Entropia Events platform systems in order to support:
- Avatar verification systems
- Bridge connection synchronization
- Future live event tracking
- Bridge communication infrastructure
- Future leaderboard systems
- Future analytics infrastructure
The desktop bridge only operates while actively running on the user device and while synchronization systems are enabled by the user.
EntropiaEventsApp requires manual user approval before any local chat.log integration occurs.
Users must manually select the desired chat.log file through the desktop application interface.
The application does not automatically scan the system for Entropia Universe installations or search for user files without user interaction.
EntropiaEventsApp stores limited configuration information locally on the user device to support persistent desktop functionality.
Local configuration storage may include:
- Selected avatar name
- Linked chat.log path
- Desktop authentication token
- Bridge synchronization state
Entropia Events platform systems may process synchronization requests, authentication requests and future bridge infrastructure communications required for platform functionality.
Platform communication systems are used to support:
- Desktop authentication validation
- Bridge synchronization status
- Avatar verification systems
- Future event synchronization systems
- Future leaderboard infrastructure
Entropia Events may utilize trusted third-party infrastructure providers required for platform functionality including authentication services, hosting infrastructure and analytics systems.
External providers maintain their own independent privacy policies and service agreements.
Entropia Events may use cookies and session systems required for authentication, persistent login functionality and general platform operation.
These systems are used to maintain secure authenticated platform sessions and improve overall user experience.
Entropia Events and EntropiaEventsApp remain under active development. Privacy policies may evolve over time as platform systems expand and new infrastructure features are introduced.
Significant policy changes may be reflected through updated platform pages or future platform announcements.
