Security Policy

Security is an important part of the EntropiaEventsApp architecture.

The application has been designed to minimize unnecessary access to user systems while maintaining synchronization functionality.

Authentication occurs through browser-based OAuth authorization connected directly to Entropia Events.

User credentials are not entered directly into the desktop application.

EntropiaEventsApp only accesses chat.log files that have been manually selected by the user.

The application does not automatically scan drives, search folders or inspect unrelated files.

Certain authentication and synchronization data may be stored locally to maintain persistent sessions and improve user experience.

Users remain responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices and operating systems.

Users should only install EntropiaEventsApp from official Entropia Events sources.

Modified, unofficial or redistributed versions may introduce security risks and are not supported.
