Entropia Events Client Policy
The Entropia Events Client is the official desktop companion app developed for the Entropia Events ecosystem. The client acts as a secure bridge between approved local Entropia Universe chat.log activity and the Entropia Events live platform infrastructure.
The desktop client supports account authentication, avatar verification, chat.log linking, live synchronization controls, bridge status updates and automated event score submission for supported event systems.
The Entropia Events Client provides optional desktop synchronization features for Entropia Events platform systems.
The client is designed to support:
- Avatar verification systems
- Live event tracking
- Automated score communication
- Real-time leaderboard infrastructure
- Persistent bridge authentication
- Desktop-to-platform synchronization
The Entropia Events Client is currently under active development as part of the broader Entropia Events ecosystem infrastructure.
Current implemented systems include:
- Desktop account authentication
- Persistent desktop sessions
- Single-instance application protection
- Local chat.log linking
- Desktop protocol integration
- Live synchronization framework
The Entropia Events Client requires manual user approval before any local file integration occurs.
The client does not automatically scan the system for Entropia Universe installations or search for user files. Users must manually select the desired chat.log file through the desktop interface.
The linked chat.log file is used only for Entropia Events synchronization systems, including avatar verification and supported live event tracking.
Users maintain full control over:
- Whether a chat.log file is linked
- Whether synchronization is enabled
- Whether the bridge remains connected
- Whether desktop authentication sessions remain active
- Whether live synchronization is running
The Entropia Events Client uses browser-based account authentication connected directly to the Entropia Events platform.
Desktop authentication occurs through secure browser authorization and custom desktop protocol communication between the website and local client instance.
App tokens are stored securely through Windows Keyring and are not stored in plain text inside config.json.
The client includes local single-instance protection designed to prevent multiple active desktop client instances from running at the same time.
Existing running sessions are focused instead of spawning duplicate client processes.
The Entropia Events Client monitors linked chat.log activity while live sync is enabled and submits supported event activity to the Entropia Events platform.
Supported platform systems include:
- Automated event score tracking
- Real-time event leaderboards
- Live participant synchronization
- Avatar verification support
- Event analytics infrastructure
The desktop client communicates directly with Entropia Events platform API systems to maintain synchronization state and authentication integrity.
Current communication systems include:
- Desktop client authentication
- Avatar verification systems
- Bridge connection state updates
- Synchronization activity reporting
- Live event activity communication
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their local systems, Entropia Universe accounts and Entropia Events platform credentials.
The Entropia Events Client should only be downloaded through official Entropia Events platform channels.
Users should not modify, reverse engineer or redistribute altered versions of the client while using official platform synchronization services.
Entropia Events and the Entropia Events Client are independent community-driven projects and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by MindArk PE AB.
Entropia Universe, Planet Calypso and all related intellectual property remain property of their respective owners.
The desktop client exists exclusively to support optional community event infrastructure, avatar verification and platform synchronization systems.
